- Place paper face down.
- Use heat transfer tape to keep the design in place and prevent "ghosting"
- Press for 30-35 seconds @ 400 F for 30-35 seconds with medium pressure.
Make all movements from garment removal after heated deliberate.
ANY shifts during the pressing process will create ghosting and image will be distorted/blurry.
Rule of thumb for sublimation printed transfers: the higher % of polyester the more brilliant the design will appear on the garment.
We recommend polyester of 60% or higher. The dye will ONLY adhere to the polyester in the fabric unless treated with a polyester spray prior to transfer.
Sublimation physically dyes the fabric it is heat pressed to. Therefore, lighter colors will not show up on darker fabrics.
